Six races were sailed today and Alinghi proved its consistency as soon as the wind was established in a proper way scoring three victories in a row in races 4, 5 and 6 of the day. The wind was rather shy when the first race was launched and the game pretty tricky for the five teams on the race course. But since race 3 nothing could stop Alinghi, with excellent starts, simple tactics and good lay-lines. Tonight Alinghi is second of the GC32 Trofeo di Roma in Civitavecchia, tight on points with Spindrift 3rd and only three points behind Sultanate of Oman. Forza Alinghi!
