Challenge Julius Baer - D35 Racing Programme

Challenge Julius Baer

Alinghi (SUI1), representing the SNG, will compete in the Challenge Julius Baer series with Ernesto Bertarelli helming onboard with fellow Alinghi team mates; Pierre-Yves Jorand (mainsail trimmer), Murray Jones (tactican), Yves Detrey (bow) and Nils Frei (headsail trimmer).
Christian Wahl (tactics), Andrew Graham (trimmer/bow), Tanguy Cariou (performance/coach), Coraline Jonet (trimmer), Claudy Dewarrat (coach) and Nicolas Rossier (boat preparations) will complete the race crew.

The D35 Class, an owner sailor arrangement, was founded in 2004 by Swiss sailors for friendly competition on Swiss lakes. The Julius Baer Challenge, organised by the ‘Association des Multicoques de Compétition’, is an annual competition consisting of a series of events. Competitors are among the cream of lake sailors and this one design class gives them the opportunity to meet on equal terms in high performance speedsters.
